What can I expect from the experience?
Are you ready for the most exciting race of the year? The Hot Wheels City Experience arrives in town in a unique, interactive event for the whole family, especially for Hot Wheels car fans. You'll have access to a variety of activities in a large, covered space. So, are you up for the challenge?
Where will the experience take place? What is the full address?
The experience will take place at Minas Shopping. Av. Cristiano Machado, 4000 - União, Belo Horizonte - MG, 31160-342.
How do I get there by public transportation?
The nearest bus station is "Avenida Cristiano Machado 4050," a 3-minute walk from Minas Shopping.
What are the opening hours?
Monday to Friday: 2 PM to 8 PM
Saturday: 11 AM to 9 PM
Sunday: 1 PM to 7 PM
How long does it take to complete the experience?
The full exhibition takes about an hour and a half, including the Hot Wheels City Experience circuit and the free-flow zone, featuring go-karts, car exhibitions, food trucks, a gaming zone, and a trampoline area.
What should I bring?
You should bring your printed or digital ticket. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing LOTS OF FUN!
Is there a maximum number of children one adult can supervise?
We recommend that one adult supervises a maximum of six children.
Can I bring backpacks and bags to the experience?
We suggest leaving valuables and personal items at home. For the safety of all participants, all bags entering or exiting are subject to inspection.
Are strollers allowed in the experience?
Yes, strollers are allowed, but there are no storage facilities.
Is there somewhere to leave my belongings during the experience?
We do not offer locker service for this experience. Only for the go-kart.
Is food and beverage service available during the experience?
Yes, of course! We have a food truck area with options for everyone.
Are there bathrooms available?
There won’t be restrooms inside the experience, but Minas Shopping has bathrooms.
Can I take photos and record the experience?
YES, OF COURSE! Capture your visit and share it on your social networks, tagging us on Facebook or Instagram.
Do you store lost and found items?
Lost items will be stored and available at the exhibition site for 24 hours. After that period, they are sent to the shopping mall’s Lost and Found department. To contact this department, call (31) 3429-3510.
Is there WIFI available at the event?
There is no WIFI service inside the event.
Is smoking (including e-cigarettes or vaporizers) allowed inside the experience?
Smoking is not allowed inside the experience.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed, except for service animals, which must show identification before entering the event.
Is there parking at the venue?
Minas Shopping has parking with 1,700 spaces, including preferential spots and self-service machines to make your visit easier.
Is there a bike rack?
Minas Shopping has a special space for you to park your bicycle without worrying about how long you'll stay. Just bring your lock. The space is near the motorcycle parking area.
What items are prohibited inside the experience?
To ensure the safety of participants, the following items are not allowed:
- Outside food and beverages
- Pets (only service animals are allowed)
- Drones
- Drugs and drug-related equipment
- Flammable items (fireworks, explosives, flares, etc.)
- Flashlights
- Laser pointers
- Professional cameras (with detachable lenses) – smartphone cameras are allowed
- Promotional items, unauthorized solicitations, and vendors (including leaflets, samples, giveaways)
- Selfie sticks/tripods
- Toy weapons/water guns
- Camcorders
- Weapons (firearms, ammunition, knives, pepper spray, etc., including off-duty officers with concealed carry permits)
Note: We do not tolerate touching, fights, taunts, threatening comments, or gestures toward staff members.

Yes, the experience is wheelchair accessible.
Are service or companion animals allowed?
Yes, service or companion animals are allowed, provided their identification is shown before entering the event. Pets are NOT allowed.
Are there strong lights or loud noises in the experience?
Yes, some parts of the experience may have flashing lights or loud noises for visitors.
Is the experience suitable for deaf or hearing-impaired individuals?
The experience does not include translation for hearing-impaired individuals.
Are there places to sit during the experience?
Yes, there are seating areas throughout the experience.
Is the experience accessible and inclusive for everyone?
We are committed to providing an inclusive experience for everyone. If you have mobility challenges, our staff will be available to offer any necessary assistance.
ACCESS
Is proof of COVID-19 vaccination required to access the exhibition?
No, it is not required.
Do I need to wear a mask?
No, masks are not required.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at the experience 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
What happens if I am late?
Ticket registration and validation will close 5 minutes before the session starts. If you are too late for registration and validation, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee your entry to the experience. There is a 15-minute grace period.
Are there any age restrictions?
No, the event is open to all ages.

- Being aware of their children's activities and whereabouts during the event
- Acting promptly to ensure the safety and well-being of children in case of emergencies or adverse situations
As such, we do not assume any responsibility or liability regarding the supervision, safety, or well-being of children during participation in the experience. Parents or legal guardians agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless from any claims, legal actions, liabilities, or expenses arising from or related to their children’s participation in the event. Parents or legal guardians acknowledge and agree that their children's participation is at their own risk and that they are fully responsible for their children's safety and well-being. HOT WHEELS KART
How does the karting experience work?
As soon as you arrive at HotWheels City Experience, we suggest that you go to Go Karting and check in no later than 15 minutes after your entry. The Go Karting offers two different karting categories: adults and children.
Children:
- Age: 6 to 12 years
- Minimum height: 1.15m
- Time: up to 7 laps
- Must be accompanied by a single responsible adult throughout the race.
- Children with cognitive or motor disabilities have priority.
Adults:
- Minimum age: 13 years
- Height: 1.40m to 1.85m
- Maximum weight: 110kg
- Time: up to 10 laps
- Children cannot participate in the adult kart category.
What is the minimum age for karting?
- Children: 6 to 12 years

Are there any height restrictions for karting?
- Children: min 1.15m

Are there any weight restrictions for karting?
- Children: no

Is there a separate track for children?
The track is the same, the difference lies in the alternating race sessions between children and adults. The children's races are dedicated to kids aged 6 to 12, with a minimum height of 1.15m.
Can adults participate in children's races?
No, adults are not allowed in children's races. These are exclusively reserved for children.
Do children need to be supervised by an adult during the races?
Yes, it is mandatory for children to be supervised by a responsible adult while on the track, even if the adult is not participating in the race.
Are there any additional restrictions for participating in adult karting?
In addition to the height and weight restrictions for adults, it is important to note that children must be at least 13 years old to participate in the adult kart category.
Is there a maximum age requirement for adult karting?
While there is no specific maximum age for adult karting, drivers must meet the minimum and maximum height and weight requirements to ensure safety during the races.
Can I drive on the same track as my child if I buy both an adult and a child karting ticket?
No, for safety reasons, races are divided between Adult Kart and Children’s Kart categories.
Can I drive the kart wearing sandals or flip-flops?
No! Wearing flip-flops or sandals is prohibited. To drive the kart, you must wear closed shoes.
Is it allowed to bring food into the karting area?
No, food is only allowed outside the karting area.
Is it allowed to carry a cell phone while driving the kart?
No, cell phones must be stored away while driving the kart.

How much do tickets cost?

What are the different types of tickets?
The following tickets are available for purchase, allowing access to the experience:
- Full Price Ticket
- Half Price Ticket
- Social Ticket: valid for all ages with the donation of 1kg of food or a toy
- Full Flex Ticket: access to the experience at any time on the chosen date
- Half Flex Ticket: access to the experience at any time on the chosen date
- 3+ Package: access to the experience for groups of 3 or more
There are also additional add-ons to enhance your experience:

What is the ticket price for children?
Children up to 2 years old (on the event date) have free admission. Children between 2 and 12 years old (on the event date) pay half-price. You can check the details about the half-price ticket here.
What is the ticket price for PWD?
According to Federal Law 12.933/13 and Federal Decree 8.537/15, people with disabilities and their companion are entitled to a half-price ticket. Check all details about half-price tickets here.
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased at the event box office or on the Fever website.
Do I need to bring a printed ticket?
You don't need to print anything; just show your Fever tickets via the app (or by email) when you arrive at the event.
Can I change the date or time of my ticket?
If you purchased a regular ticket, you must attend on the selected date and time. The only way to choose between dates is with a flexible ticket.
Can I buy tickets for larger groups?
YES, OF COURSE! You can request more information here.
What are the refund policies?
Refunds are not available. In some cases, you can request a date change as long as it is done at least 48 hours before the event and meets the applicable criteria for changes. For more information, contact us (and don't forget to share your ticket details).
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
No, unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer your ticket to another person.
How does the “Official Photo” work?
When purchasing the “Official Photo” add-on, you will receive a printed photo at the event as a keepsake. You can choose to take the photo with your companion or group, but you will only receive one printed photo. If you want more than one printed photo, you will need to purchase another “Official Photo” add-on.
I can't find my ticket, what should I do?
You can find your ticket with the QR code in the Fever app, under the "Tickets" section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Make sure to log in using the same account you used when purchasing the tickets. If you still can’t find your ticket, contact us.
Right of Admission
We reserve the right of admission and/or permanence if a participant appears in an irregular state, such as intoxication, drug use, or any behavior that is uncomfortable or risky for themselves and others. Authorized staff may search participants to prevent the entry of prohibited or dangerous objects (food, drinks, drugs, firearms, knives, or any other items that pose a danger to themselves or others). We do not guarantee entry to users with tickets not purchased through Fever (the official ticket provider).
STORE
Will there be a store for purchasing Hot Wheels items?
YES! There is a store accessible to all who have a ticket for the Hot Wheels City Experience.
Does the store accept all payment methods?
At the store, only card payments are accepted.
What is the return policy?
There are no returns. Exchanges are allowed and are subject to the approval of the store manager.
